To those of you who, for one reason or another, failed to receive my email about Beach Party III, consider yourselves invited:
Have you recently observed your spittle freezing before it hits the ground? Have you recently had problems with Helium liquefying? Have the arctic windchills made you long for Plumtree, back in Tennessee, where the cotton blooms and blows? If so, we at 3*** St-D**** have decided to provide our usual remedy, the Third Annual 3*** St-D**** Beach Party! For those of you unfamiliar with the concept, we are renting as many space heaters as will fit in Andrew’s car and acquiring as many coconuts as we can get our hands on [insert hands-on-coconuts joke here], in order to recreate the classy atmosphere from that Spring Break in Cancun that you can’t remember because of the “tequila incident”. We will also be acquiring some tropical juices, and there might even be a guest appearance by Pinchy the Lobster. Your responsibility is to bring some tropical-themed liquor or beer, adhere to our dress code (less is more, and beach attire is mandatory given that the temperature usually climbs to 30 degrees), and to bring any non-leprous friends that you can find. We are not joking; In previous years some people have said “haha they are joking! What fools!” and literally paid for it with the shirts off their backs. Change rooms will be provided.
If you know us, then you know will know where we live. Don't be afraid to show up before 10, and any time after nine is fine. Remember: we operate on Canadian EST, not Brazilian time. Come early and enjoy the fiesta before it turns into a sauna.
Adminstrative Note: new links to the expanded blog ring on the left.
