Any physiotherapists out there? Our Crew practice this morning entailed jump squats:dozens and dozens of jump squats. The name of the game is Hoola Hoops, with ten regular sized hoola hoops laid out on the floor in a row. What it involves is crouching and jumping through each one, twenty times, times two. To clarify: (ten hoops * 20 laps) * 2. That's 400. This is the activity that sent one of our crewmates, our stroke seat no less, to the hospital in the Fall. Essentially, if you have no legs you'll have trouble, and he had chicken legs...not to mention he quit training after our season ended. As a direct result of hoola hoops,, he spent four days in the hospital getting his kidneys drained and had to differ some exams.

Now that I can barely walk, over twelve hours later, I'm thinking tomorrow morning isn't going to be too comfortable. We'll just have to wait and see.
