Unexpected good news

First things first: the Alliance has been untrenched in North Vancouver! (inside joke if you didn't catch the meaning of 'untrenched'). Don Bell has unseated Ted White by a count of 22, 696 to 20, 620.

This next one is a little strange. While I am totally in favour of its consequences in this case, it appears as though 'defeating a motion', whether it be a tie or a majority voting against, at TransLink doesn't really mean its ultimate destruction; RAV is back on track, as the Mayor of North Vancouver (City, I live in the District) came to her senses...or visited the optometrist, I should say.
