In the spirit of airport/airplane commentary by fellow blog ringers, here's my version:

January 4th, 2004

My 11am flight from Vancouver was delayed by about 30 mins because the plane was late in arriving from San Francisco. During the flight I had to sit in a regular aisle seat, despite asking a short woman sitting in the emergency if she wouldn't mind switching - apparently she would. Not only that, but the short girl in front of me decided to recline her chair almost all the way back. I think she got the message when my knees began to dig into her spine.

To top it all off, the Trudeau airport authorities decided to unload five planes-worth of luggage onto one single carousel. Passengers from Winnipeg, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver and Baie Durfay all crowded around the single C shaped carousel, creating a three to four person deep lineup preventing anyone behind this wall from even being able to get a glimpse of the luggage passing along the belt.

Ohh Dorval (Trudeau), you continue to impress to no end...
